The Hylomar sealer is endorsed by Rolls Royce means exactly that. Some people might think their ( R/R ) endorsement is worth something, other people may not. I don't see a problem here either.

On other bike forums that I belong to , they too have a section for other subjects besides motorcycle stuff. Like most things on social media, if the topic is not to anyones liking , then don't open it and of course don't read it . Then no one is offended unless they want to be. Just my 50 cents worth.

Good talking. It does seem we prefer processing only one thing at a time, not really interested in discussing the wider spectrum of what life hits you with, so let's enjoy these instead. Yup, falls into the personality bracket, but not just that. A hobby as per extracurricular activities. It's not the same for everyone, and nobody to blame when you think of it with an open mind. You guys are right. Best stick to engines and a genuine technical support I too have experienced, and look for friends in life elsewhere. But I am weak, or perhaps like said before, just a different kind of blues. I'm starting to love the look of the engine, and as in the video above, the it already talks back. Love the fresh hiss! :)

Tacklehapy - things tend to spill over. Just what happens.

0ne last thing, English is not even my second language, so I might stugger a bit aqt times. And need to re-write what I'm saying because when I read back it not always reflect what I meant to express.

Now back to engines :)

Anyone wants a particular photo since I am in the middle of sorting out the guts, just ask me. It's the perfect time for this. The head is coming on tomorrow, most likely, it will be too late to reflect on the before engine particulars. But wait.... I'm building yet another engine! hahaha Looong way to go with that though. Crazy thing I got a crank case and crank shaft with rods all one set. Very tempting indeed.... I might just make another KZ1300 :)

Well, life sucks! But it offers choices. Sometimes. This time, instead of picking one of the two aftermarket head gaskets I already have, and playing with applying a gasket sealant around the coolant passages, I chose original Kawasaki head gasket. Price in Canadian 'chit' dollars - 191!!!! Comparing to the one I got the last time, as N0S, looks like made and packaged brand new. I have a feeling that Kawasaki starts making some of the old items again, while keeping an eye on what gains popularity. And the price went up by the way.

MUST remember the 2 dampers with the 'up' placed there before attaching the head!

Dowel pins (2)

A close up.
