I'll suggest the most likely culprits are sticking injectors. Don't know the history here but if it's been laid up for a loooooooong time, I would look there first.

Hi Hoganter,
I'll be watching this thread as I am about to pull the throttle bodies so I can check out the injectors on my '85 Voyager. The service manual has a routine that is suggested for cleaning the injectors it involves a 12v light bulb and a 12v battery in series with the injector.
You can download the service manual from the bottom of the home page for this site.

I cleaned the injectors in an ultrasonic cleaner and tested them visually.
I would like to install new injectors but it's not straight forward to do that.
I have changed the fuel pressure valve from a variable back to the original with no real change.
When I was adjusting the variable I was not getting any real change in running.
It runs well just before it dies when you turn the fuel off, so I am going to test the inputs again to the ecu.
I replaced the injector loom with a new one so may have confused her if its wired incorrectly.
Will check engine temp, air temp and throttle position ( again and again) as is the way with these things.
I now have access to a new oscilloscope ($10k) so can check signals with that.
Will advise if I find anything
Cheers
