Getting head (gasket) that works

In keeping with my dilemma with the "ITALIANMETALS" head gasket 3 yrs ago:

My 7 month "project" required some head-work and a new head gasket.  This time I went with one from BRIXIAMOTO.  In fact; I purchased 2.....just because "you never know" !
AND:  For due diligence sake I contacted BRIXIAMOTO and asked if they recommend a "sealer".  Their answer was simple:  The manufacturer rexcomends their gaskets be installed "DRY".
Expecting to simply add add oil, coolant, brake fluid and START; I ended up with another gut punch.  As soon as the coolant got up to the head.....the fucking thing started puking my new coolant !!
And before someone says, "  Your head must be warped".......IT'S NOT.  My trusted machine shop found the head to be within less than .001"  and the cyl and head surfaces clean, and of no concern.
What I discovered when this piece-o-crap was removed was the fire-rings didn't compress flush with the gasket material. Also note the lack of any "sealing" rings around the cooling ports !

Can no one make a #^%$#  aftermarket H/G that actually *&^%$# works?
Adding insult to injury, I again went to a OEM.  3 yrs ago it was $230.00.  2 months ago when I priced out an OEM the dealer quoted $265.00.
Today:  I ordered one and walked out disgusted with a visa receipt for $302.00  !?!?!?
I tried contacting COMETIC and got no response.  And frankly: I'm done with this after market shit.
Maybe I should give up on Brass Floats and get into the "1300 Head Gasket" business. How %$#@* hard can it be?
I have a "Return - Defective product" claim with BRIZIAMOTO and Ebay so the refund for those 2 will cover the exorbitant Kawasaki OEM.
Don't cha just love doing a job twice?

Kawasaki OEM head gaskets are our last defense against the dreaded drip-drip-drip.  They are the only gaskets that have the "sealing beads" around the coolant ports.

On the other hand:  A piece of metal window screen sandwiched between two pieces of ceral-box cardboard,  6 bean-can rings and a tube of silicone and voila; you're in production....just like ITALIANMETALS and BRIXAMOTO.  You'll have a better head gasket  !!!!

I just received a Shipping Label to return the two Head gaskets back to BRIXAMOTO.

This past week I finished all the electrical - everything works, but it was a fair bit of work.   Two-thirds of the plug ends and terminals were replaced. I stripped the sleeving and tape wrap to check all the wires and splices ...that you can't see and would never know they were there and did a lot of untwisting and reorienting.  I decided to leave the harness bare.

Note to self:  " Straiten the fuse bloc" !

Today I started on the hydraulics.  I now have a nice firm feel to the pedal and lever.  The rear-master cyl. was initially unusable.  Heavily corroded and everything seized solid..  I actually had to burn-out the piston/seals.  The Bore was horribly pitted.  I devised a hone and although it was a slow and arduous 1 day task I was able to remove all of the pitting and in the end had a pristine polished bore of 11/16".
A..... "shhhh" ......Harley      brake kit worked out fine.

It's a Long Weekend and it's going to be very warm and sunny !      I'll be RIDING!   (the '80)
Happy Canada Day !

A couple of years ago I bought a complete set of engine gaskets with the suggestive name “HI LEVEL” from a dealer in England.
I paid half the price of the original ones.
In the case of the head gasket what I did was to smear it in oil a day before fitting it.
What's more, a week after the cylinder head was tightened with its torque I had to disassemble it again as I had forgotten to fit the timing chain guide.
I reassembled the engine with the same gasket and had no leakage.
The engine ran for about 4 hours in total reaching several times its working temperature until I disassembled it again, the gasket came out intact.
RUN LIKE THE WIND¡¡¡
