Returning to the thread. I was about to mount the crankshaft when I realized that the engine block looked terrible, the time I painted it I didn't bake it and the paint was thinning.
I used paint thinner to clean it and repainted with anticaloric paint.
This time I used a heat gun to bake it.

Re: THE MOMENT OF TRUE.
1 month 2 weeks agoWell, believe it or not, I had another mishap. While cleaning and painting the engine, I forgot to close the door that connects the garage to the kitchen and the house filled with a strong smell of solvent.Good to see you back on the project!
In the morning, during breakfast, my wife and children gave me a big scolding.

I have spent a week painting parts of the engine, four months stopped waiting for spare parts and at the last moment I decided to paint the engine.
Today I have assembled the crankshaft and the gearbox shafts with its primary chain synchronization.
Just as I was fitting the output shaft to the cardan shaft I noticed that the half-ring shaped part that serves to fix the needle bearing in its housing was missing.
I didn't even look around the workshop floor as I remember perfectly well that it was not disassembled as it was not installed.
Looking for an alternative I remembered the washer that came out of the engine block without knowing where to put it.
It fit like a cake in the mold.
So I cut it in half and inserted it into its slot.
Problem solved, professional work.
As soon as I have some time to work I will close the crankcase.
