Working on my 1980 kz 1300 and I've lost the diaphragm assembly for my center carb for the vacuum. And its not made and I can't find one anywhere. Please help. Bike hasn't seen the road since 1990 and that is the only piece to that is keeping it from running. Bike still in poor looking shape but I'm getting it running first then working on making it look good. If any one can help PLEASE!!!!! THANK YIU

There should be a set on ebay. Might be pricey for rubber parts but will get you fixed.

If all else fails, I've read before on other forums that nitrile like the kind you find in gloves and gorilla glue can work in a pinch to patch up cracked diaphragms and at least get you on the road.

There's many ways to approach the issue so make sure you've done the research. The information is out there, just gotta know where to look :).

Hope you find what you need!

I haven't tried this so the usual disclaimer applies but try some Sikaflex, it's a polyurethane glue that is used for glueing panels like on bus bodies, its very flexible, fuel resistant and sticks like shite to a wool blanket. You would need to clean the surface with a cleaning agent like prepsol that is used for cleaning surfaces pre painting with two pack paints. It needs 24 hours to set.
I have heard of it being used but like I said have never tried it.
Use it sparingly as it would tend to stiffen the diaphragm if you put it on thick.
