My guess is no one here will be offended by me posting a video I made from the 40th CBX Rally held in Morro Bay, Ca??

Thanks for another great video, Don. Very nicely done.
Those CBX’s never fail to impress, and to see so many together is awesome. I was surprised that red ones seemed to be the most numerous in the un-faired bikes. I always thought silver was more common, but maybe that’s the case in Europe rather than the USA.

thanks for the video. I too was surprised at how many red CBXs had gathered. I have just bought a 1980 USA import to UK. Still getting it up and running - just waiting on the paintwork to come back now and I have a spongy front brake that I just can't clear! It was black but changing it to candy glory red scheme as in the video

Hi Biltonjim
I'd say, based on experience, that also in Europe the red ones dominate the un-faired CBX. Silver is quite rare.
Probably a matter of taste, cos that is a very nice red. One of my friends used it on the Z1300 is she looks quite fine.
