Best Gaskets?

Hi Folks,
I'm getting closer to disassembling my 1300 to go after the water pump shaft and the nylon idler gear. What experiences have you had with gasket manufacturers?
TIA
Bill

Good timing Bill. Just yesterday I stumbled upon these guys..
100% USA made, and it looks like they have darn near every gasket for a KZ1300..

They do have quite a few available.
Just wish they offered a head gasket.

From personal experience "I won't install anything other than a "Kawaski" head gasket.
I tried "Italian Metals" - it started leaking the moment the coolant reached the head. The seller implied "I" had done something wrong when installing it. He claimed the gaskets are made in Germany from the Finest materials. Bullshit ! They look Exactly like "Athena"
I have tried "Athena" head gaskets. Also started leaking the moment the coolant reached the head. The "return" Shipping label had this gasket going to CHINA (?) Canada Posts data base did not recognise that address ! At least "Athena" refunded me when pictures and an explanation was provided.
With "Italian Metals": a coolant port sealing bead was on one side only (?), and the embossed "texture/pattern" is so deep I doubt anything would seal this gasket.
"Athena": No sealing beads AND the "fire-rings" would not "crush" correctly, leaving about .004" gap per side.
The $$$ for a "Kawasaki" head gasket is outrageous. BUT.....they seal !!!!!!
