ZG 1300 A-4 FUEL PUMP RELAY REPLACE PART.
7 hours 30 minutes ago - 7 hours 24 minutes ago
On my last Sunday ride with the GPZ 1100, the engine stalled due to lack of fuel, even though the tank was more than half full.
I tried to find the fault by checking all the pipes and cables I could see and touch, until I realized that when I turned the ignition key during the check, the fuel pump was not running.
I connected a piece of wire from the fuse box to the positive terminal of the fuel pump and had enough pressure to start the bike and get home.
In the garage, with a beer in my hand, I was able to confirm that the fuel relay had died.
That's when my odyssey began.
It is no longer manufactured, and on all Kawasaki parts websites, part number 27002-1007 is listed as obsolete.
The GPZ 1100 shares fuel injection and wiring parts with the ZG 1300, this is one of them.
27002-1007 not avaibable
I barely found a couple of used ones on eBay with no warranty.
The original 11-pin relay is no longer available, so I found a replacement reference for a Bosch relay.
BOSCH F 026 T00 064 RELAY
The original relay.
The replace part.
Mounted in the bike.
COST ABOUT 70 EUROS.

Nice find. Fortunately, Kawasaki left the Bosch part # on the relay and simplified the search. Still, we appreciate your effort and Thanks for sharing your find.

Since the late 1980s, there have been two updates to Bosch relay references that are now discontinued.
Bosch 0 332 514 120
I know this because I searched for them unsuccessfully.
This is the third and final update.
For now.
