hi all.hopefully a zn voyager guy will chime in here. i have a 1986 zn1300 voyager i am working on. i need to know if 1.4v drop between regulator test point and batt. is acceptable on these monsters. seems like a lot but there is a lot going on with these bikes. thx pat.

A 1.4 volt drop would not be acceptable on any charging system. I would expect to see a 0.1v - 0.2v drop when all the lights are on but no more.

hi all, after cleaning every junction i could get to i finally got the volt drop down to .3v.here is a pic of the back of the fuse/relay box.
i think this was the biggest part of the problem. thx pat

U-G=L-Y !!!!! How in God's name did that get so filthy? It's all tucked up under the seat. It's not seat foam particles is it?
