Circuit Ride
5 days 14 hours ago
Got together with a few friends to shred some rubber.
The lead bike is an 1100 Ducati Monster. I'm in the second position wearing a red jacket on my 1100 Spectre. The bike following me was a Harley Livewire. The last bike was a 1290 Duke.
It was actually called a professional development workshop.
It was addicting !!

Hi Don,
This was the first time I ever rode my 1100 in a competitive manner and I struggled with deciding which gear to run in. I ended the session in first gear but will have to work alone to smooth things out.
I learner two things.
On the Barrel portion I learner to come in wide, 18 to 20 feet so that I could use the cone (barrel) as the exit of the turn.
Between the turns I learned to get the bike back up straight as quickly as possible so that I could accelerate and brake with more authority.
As I've looked at the video I would estimate our peak speeds at about 35 MPH but while I was riding I was thinking I was going nearly 50. There was NO time to look at the gauges.
Regards
