Out in the cold

Out on the beast today, bit of a false start as she only fired up on four cylinders After much cursing and swearing and as I couldn’t think of anything else I tapped the float bowl on the offending carb and all was good. Did 60 miles and apart from being a bit “fluffy” when pulling away and the idle being a bit lumpy she ran really strong. I’m hoping balancing the carbs again will cure that. Really enjoyed the run out despite the bloody cold.

cheers Martin, I’ve just finished rebuilding my spare set of carbs so I’ll get your cleaning tool back to you asap. Just a few niggles to sort and some cosmetics that are sending my ocd into overdrive then I’ll be happy.
