Almost done.

I’m starting on the painting today and a “Carmo” Igniter should arrive any day.  I had purchased a used OEM igniter from a seller on eBay which was (Guaranteed) to be “Tested and Working”.  Within an hour of unboxing it I immediately determined it was not firing cyl’s 3 & 4.  So, I plugged it in to my ’80 with the same results.2 hours later it was back in the mail to the seller with a “note”.  I had no response from the seller for 2 weeks so left an appropriate Neg. feedback.  Still no response!  I asked eBay to intervene and THEN I got a response from the Seller.
From MOTOLANE :     “Remove your negative feedback and I will cancel the whole transaction and give you a full refund
Now, I'm furious!  Again, I contacted eBay again asking them to look into this and did so through the “Report Seller” option, indicating I’m being extorted and questioning the entire point of having Feedback if a Seller can “Buy” a favorable review.  eBay is now pursuing this matter.
"You can't trust anyone or anything anymore" and that's just damned sad!

This looks great, scotch. What a transformation. I see you’ve opted for a hydraulic clutch.  Is the radiator non-standard?
Looking forward to seeing the details when you are inclined.

The rad. is stock but as I did with my'80, I removed the "junk" as it's purely cosmetic, makes the rad. look unusually large/ungainly and allows for better cooling.

I needed a brake caliper for another bike and asked the seller if the piston moved.  He said it did so I purchased it; seller accepted returns.  Upon arrival, it was as rusted as my old one.  I hit the "return" button and selected the reason was defective merchandise.  The seller messaged me asking if I installed it and bled it; he clearly had an attitude.  One of my replies was that I couldn't bleed it as the bleeder valve was aslo stuck.  I'm supposed to get the refund today after which I will trash him in a review.

I went thru the same shit with BRIXAMOTO over the Head gasket which is manufactured with an inherent flaw.  The Fire-Ring is to heavy/thick to crush correctly.  It leaked.
Additionally:  I ordered 7 S/S Dome nuts from WEMOTO.  5 - M10X1.25P and 2 - M12X1.25P  The sent 2 - M12X1.5.  I emailed them 3 times with photos of the 2 different thread pitches, and never got a response !
W>T>F> is wrong with these Businesses/People.  Do they not realize that Social Media "calls them out" ?  Clearly they don't give a shit, so it's up to the consumer to do just that !
