The rubber boot that goes from the rear swing arm to the drive shaft. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement. Mine has split, and if the MOT guy spots it that will be a fail.

If you can't find one you could try a urethane sealant to repair it .
Heres one

That is a VERY hard part find these days. I had to buy an entire rear swing arm and drive from a salvage yard to get a boot in good condition.

Do a search on rubber bellows, a number of companies make them. I think someone may have an off the shelf part that is close enough in size to fit.

That swing arm boot is not easy to see. It's buried behind the rear master cylinder and rider foot peg plate.Pretty sure might not catch it?Those swing arm boots are getting harder to come by these days.Ebay would be a good place to start to try to find a replacement or go to that super over priced German site and pay through the nose for one.

It works out about $90-$100 USD. It is a bit more than I would like to pay but they are the only game in town and it is new. If you but from Ebay it is almost guaranteed to be 20 years old

The German shop is not the only game in town, he is buying it form somewhere, we just need to find where.

I may try and request an engineering sample from these guys...
