Hi Guy's

Please can you give me your advice or opinion !
I want to up grade the suspension on my bike to a competition race system Im thinking of installing Ohlins forks and Ohlins rear coil overs with a piggy back reservoir system

Is anyone familiar with the use, form and function of these shocks on other motorcycles as well as heavy motorcycles like the Zds ?
Please can someone confirm the length of Ohlins rear shocks I will need on the bike ?
I understand they are manually adjustable but are they initially built for the customer due to their personal weight and bikes weight combined or are they built as a stock factory manual adjustable unit no matter what the weight of the rider or bike combined ?
Also what internal diameter triple trees are used to hold the Ohlins front forks?
And are there triple trees out there for the z1300 to hold Ohlins forks ?

Cheers

Chad

I fitted ZRX1200R rear shocks to my own current bike.

I owned a ZRX a couple of years ago & was very happy with how it handled at the front & rear end so chose these shocks as a result. They are very good in general with 1 or 2 people ontop.

They are a little longer than the standard Z1300 (pen spring) type but still look great.

My swinging arm is a one off made to accept a VMAX diff unit, to enable me to fit a wider 3 spoke rear wheel, so I have extended the top frame mounts out to match, but i THINK these would bolt straight onto a standard set up.

Hope that helps ?
