I'm looking at a potential re-ring job on my KZ1300, and naturally, even though only one cylinder MAY be bad, if I take off the bores, I'll have to re-ring all six. Is there a source for piston rings for this bike? I'm finding the big bore rings relatively easily, but bupkiss when it comes to the standard size. Will other bike rings work? Can I get generic rings, so long as they are the right size? If so, what would that size be? Thanks.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationHere is a guy that has 5 of them. Make sure you verify the part number with your model and year.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationWell the Ebay link didn't work so here you go.

He's only asking $10.00 above list, with free shipping, might be able to get him to consolidate shipping.

It may be because I'm on mobile, but I'm still not seeing anything. I've got a possible line on some, but I'm still looking. Is this still available direct from Kawasaki?

Also, just to confirm, do the KZ1300s and ZN1300 Voyagers share rings? The same part numbers keep coming up for both, but I'd like to make sure.

The German Shop has got both aftermarket and NOS factory parts, a bit more pricey but another option. Also 62mm rings are a common size, Hastings and a number of Japanese suppliers may have a correct replacement ring.

Rings are the same between the KZ and the voyager.

Mic your bores, I though I was good for a simple hone job, bud discovered a couple of cinders had some hour glass going on. Someone had honed it before and got lazy with the drill at the top.... Make sure your bores are solid before you re-ring.
