 And whether the coating actually helps in stopping heat radiating off the header , well , how could that be measured ?

 
Hmmmm. I have IR reading with the stock DG headers.. Same camera, same iPhone.. Going to be interesting to compare the heat signature differences... 
More in a week or two!
