Dear Bob,

We are writing to inform you that your recent purchase through the Global Shipping Program from  twowheelspares  cannot be completed.

Don’t worry! Your full refund will be processed back to the original payment method within 72 hours. You may notice two separate refunds: a refund for the item, and a refund for the shipping and import costs. No further action is needed.

My message to seller

Good day ? I wonder whose more disappointed/pissed off? The notification from Global shipments that the item would not be shipped, was disappointing enough for myself but when I read that it would not be returned to the sender I wondered what the "heck" was their issue? I've recently purchased similar items from the UK with no issues.
I received a refund so am grateful for that but; Did they really "seize" this part and are not returning it to you? I hope this isn't the case and you get it returned. I'd be furious ! Has this something to do with BREXIT !
Just curious !

New message from:  twowheelspares   (198,314 )Hello,

Yes annoying isn't it, We have only recently opted in to the GSP scheme some items fly through and others for reasons unbeknown to us get seized and unfortunately never returned. I can't imagine why they have stopped this item can understand some things but not this one. If there are any other items you want from us we can send with FedEx so there are no customs issues but it costs more.

Regards
Daz

About a year ago - you wouldn't believe the nonsense trying to get Floats and Cleaning Tools to South Ireland !
I won't ship anything to the UK, now !    Buying ?  Little risk for the buyer - A potential total loss for the seller !

Similar experience - Ordered a carb diaphragm for the plungers from a vendor in the UK, through EBay on Feb 16th. Being shipped via Royal Mail. Tracking number provided. Reviewed the tracking number several times over the last 3 weeks and all the system says is that the tracking number has been provided to the vendor and the vendor is preparing the item for shipment. Sent an email to the vendor asking for status and the vendor says the item has definitely been shipped. Royal Mail has been on the verge of going on strike for a few months now but presently is working and in contract negotiation. The item has a late delivery date of March 26th so I sit here waiting to see if it actually arrives. Pathetic.

Post Note- I just thought maybe I should check again. It's been a week since I last checked. Apparently the item has made it to the Customs clearing in destination country, so it's here in Canada somewhere. Maybe all is not lost?? This is the first time any info was available from the tracking site. Go figure !!!!

Turned out the neighbor dog was snagging packages off my front porch and taking them 'elsewhere!' :)
