I'm rebuilding a 19000 kilometer bike but the fuel tank is a rotten mess. Bike runs fine from an auxiliary tank but the the original tank is really bad internally. Even the filler neck has mostly rotten away. Looks good externally except for all the holes rotted in the top under the paint.

Jim I told you i would put up a pic. Well my bike is in many parts and so no pics. I have decided to keep the tank for now because the one i`m making may not work. Sorry for the I will have many parts if and when i finish bike. trying to make it custom. Have a great new year. Jim
