Deep into valve adjustments.. New shim kit arrived. Modified an FJR 1300 Excel SS for the KZ, and since I refuse to pay for the MS Office license, converted it Libre Office.

Did I mention it's raining and I'm stuck indoors?

Not sure if any interest here, but just in case someone might find it useful, or are terminally bored with snow and rain, or have a big heart, or are plain old foolish and have 'volunteering' syndrome...

Well, here it is. I'm tired of looking at it!

BTW, Libre Office is free. MS Excel will open the file too.

Tried to edit it in Excel but it's a "protected Master" so enable to "test" it.)
Also, the acceptable range for intake is .05 - .15mm ( .002"- .006") but if adjustment is needed , one should be aiming for .135-  .175mm (.0045"-  ..0075" ) The valves will always tighten up as time goes on so one has to compensate for that. never make an adjustment leaving the valves to the tight end of the service range.
Same for the exhaust. .25- .40mm (.006"- .010") is the service range but if adjustment is required one should be shimming to achieve .32-.36mm ( .0075"- .0125") The goal is to shim as best as possible to the target of .4mm or (.010") + - .0025"
