First thing I need to make sure of is the length of the clutch cable and from what I have read its 49 inches long. Is that correct? Is there a site in the USA that you can just give them the length and what you want on the ends for fittings? or is there a bike with the same size line. I would like to have a nice braided line.

From what I've read braided lines aren't all that expensive to make on your own. You could get a long length of line in bulk and all the fittings and just redo all your hydraulics and then-some.

Been looking into doing it myself off and on it looks more attractive every time I look at it :).

Goodrich make sets, or you can buy all the parts.
the hoses do come made up, just buy the banjos to fit the ends.
just fitted new lines to mine, very quick and easy.

I agree........make your own brake & clutch lines.

I have done for the last 20 years on every bike & saved a lot of money.

You need -3 gauge lines (best is Stainless Steel Braided)

Well done mate, that is a great job.

You have obviously adapted the slave cylinder to match the angle of the dome on the original cover by matching it to the DOME of the cover plate.

To be honest, as long as the piston in the slave cylinder is flat with the clutch adjuster bolt, then it will work.

Looks good too.
