Thing I got lucky - A "N.O.S." (still in the original Kawasaki paper envelope) case cover.
Note the casting at the 9 o'clock position. It looks very similar to the alternator wire exit on the right-hand stator cover, except that it's blank. Wonder if this is an updated casting for that second alternator on some models - Just not milled-out - depending on application ! Otherwise - gasket and bolts are same. Also noted that there are no attachment points (Milled off?) for centering and securing the auxiliary stator or securing the leads with the typical two screws/wire guard.

Castings fascinate me. They are often things of beauty, as is this cover. If you don't need to install it yet, Scotch, I would display it on your living room wall.
