Here's what I'd like to accomplish as a tech resource.

This software works best with "Articles". I'll work with members who compose these sorts of "How To" posts to reconfigure them into "Articles". I will also reach into David's old tech FAQ and recompile some sections into articles. These articles will go into the database and will be searchable by topic and model.
In the mean time articles like Pete's (Strate6) are fine, particularly, if the author used a descriptive title so that, in the future, a member can just search the forum for the appropriate posting.

I'm trying out various "Article" modules now.

In the mean time, Keep "em Coming!

I really appreciate everything that each of you contributes on a daily basis.

Thanks Bill, this is great news for us all. :)

Already I appreciate your time immensely for creating the site in the first place which I also appreciate you are not paid for.......like me its for the "love" of the bike we all share.

I will contribute as much help & advice as I can & write upgrade articles as & when I have the time. that is purely for the site & benefit of other owners.

This is the start of something really good for us all & if we all work at it, your site will be the best of its kind.

Well done mate. :)

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationPete

Do you reckon these coils are suitable. I'm assuming they are because they are listed for the CB750 etc so are likely 3ohm ?

Billy,

I think 3.0 ohm maybe a bit much for the CDI unit.

The AW82's I fitted to my current bike measured 2.4 to 2.6 & that is as high as I would go.

Have a read of the coils section in FAQ.............its got all the answers.

Pete,

Got two auctions coming in late next week from Ebay. Got the original coils and resistor out and hanging on the side waiting.

I will be doing up the new wiring with soldered connections this weekend.

I'll take some shoots along the way and send them to you to maybe go along with the write up above.

Thanks again for the boot in the right direction...
