Hi, i wound new stator for my Kawa because of lambda sensors heating draw too much current and new agm battery seem to like little more voltage to charge than normal flooded battery. Here die parameters:
Wire thickness is 1.1 mm including enamel and 40 turns pro post (13 12 12 3). Ride safe !

Nice work.  I remember doing this to my 79 about 40 year ago - my fingers still hurt just thinking about it.

I tried to get a local electrical motor rebuild shop to do the rewind for me but they didn't want to touch it - they were kind enough to give me the wire and dipped and baked the rewind in epoxy for me (no charge).  It lasted a lot longer than the original.

Good job Daro. Nice and neat. Just wondering if you opted to increase the output leads gauge ?
You wound each post at 40 turns. What was the original wind?

Well done Daro. That must have taken time and patience.
Your 1300 looks superb!

Kawboy good question, I thing the output wires are at least 1,5mm square. Originally it was with 37 turns of wire pro post but wire it self was too thin, waay to thin. I got this of ebay with claim it has a 15 percent more power, but it barely delivered 13 volt under load. I suspected this but the core it self was worth it for me. To wind 13 turns on the beginning of the post you must work very tidy otherwise you don't have enough space later, in the end you probably have space for one more turn.
Greetings

You mentioned the current requirements of the Lambda sensor.  Why does a carburettor equipped 1300 have one?
