Good morning everyone!

These are two project bikes that I inherited from my dad. The green bike he bought new in 1980 and the black bike is an 81 that he intended for parts. They've both been sitting in the garage collecting dust for over 25 years. I recently put the green bike into the shop and should have it up and running in the next few months!!! I'll keep everyone update with the restoration.

Cheers

The green is all original! I’ve always found these bikes to be cool as hell. Looking forward to getting them back in the road! More pictures to come!

Hi everyone,Its been a while and I just wanted to share a couple updates on my project.I am proud to say that after some late nights and help from a few friends, my 1980 fires up and runs beautifully. She still looks pretty ugly, but the hard part is done!!! Removed cleaned and rebuilt the carbs. Next is tune up, breaks, tires, and detail. Still working on some cosmetics. There was a large dent in the tank that I pulled. There is still a small dent but I have it to a point where I can bondo the rest and will be repainting over the next week or two. I was able to find a seat cover (had that put on by a local upholstery shop). It's all coming together. With a little luck I'll be on the road by the end of January! Anyway I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday! CheersI did have one question, You may have noticed my turn signal brackets are cracked. Does anyone know where I can find  part number 23051-1023? Or are any other models compatible able?
-Cheers
