As of today, I own the world's ugliest and heaviest Kawasaki 1300.

I picked up this '85 ZN1300 for $625. It's in surprisingly decent shape, though I creased the gas tank a little with that stupid forklift stunt (oh well).

If I were to make it a runner I'd have to clean the fuel system and throw in a battery at least. However, that's not why I bought it. I bought it as a donor bike for my KZ build, in case I run into any parts I need.

This one, weirdly, has a two-wheel front suspension setup. The OEM forks and wheel and brakes are included, but this is a very interestingly fabricobbled arrangement.

I took a photo of loading the bike into the truck but for some reason my phone didn't save it. Suffice it to say it was hinky as hell, involving the liftgate, some long planks, a set of stairs, and two bottle jacks. Frankly, I care not to repeat that experience.

Anyway, if anyone needs any parts off this one please let me know. It's almost certainly destined to just be a donor.

It's pretty awful and ingenious all in one.

That's a great price for a parts bike. That abortion on the front is something else. Is that even legal? B)

Legal, sure. It actually has some parts I may be able to resell: The wheels and tires are brand new, along with the brakes (disc brakes on both sides). It's a full suspension, involving A-arms and shocks, and it does in fact turn and lean!
