That was my concern. I wonder if a clear coat over the model paint would slow the fading process?

you need material that is UV-stable. Otherwise the bombardment of the sun will bleach the pigments ...

She is complete, up and running!!!. I have one day left to run her in before I leave on a rally on Thursday with my son. Talk about cutting it fine! He will have the pleasure of riding her whilst I stick to my old faithful Z13. We will ride an approximate 1600km round trip.
