Any idea what the ignition system would draw at maximum? I would assume a fraction of maximum alternator output. I would like to mount LED driving lights, because in my area we have a plague of deer, especially at sunset. Other than that, nothing but moderately high-output horns. And I don't really plan to be caught out after dark in any case.
Somewhere around 5 amps ( 75 watts) would be my educated estimate.
Ah yes , deer at bewitching hour in Western Canada. Makes you wonder where they all came from and why the coyotes and wolves don't have a greater presence. Deer are nocturnal and will move around all night long. I've had them cross my path at midnight. Always look for green and amber eyes.. You'll see them before the bodies.
