I have a 79 KZ1300 6 and also a 1981 CBX.

The two bikes couldn't be more different!

Very interesting to see Harry's ride on the KZ.

OBTW, the KZ isn't the 'slug' in handling as he says.
Obviously, he doesn't know squat!

The CBX has anemic front flexy forks, and the rear shock, even new, sucks. Hi speed suspension movements are painful.

The KZ had stouter forks, and cheap to replace rear shocks.. a much more stable and secure ride when cornering.

LOL.

I watch a fair bit of his stuff, he does cars mostly, usually older exotic stuff. Looking forward to the Z1300 test.

I have the Z1300 1979 and the CBX 1980 A model.  I agree 100 %  As you say they are totally different. When riding the 1300 i feel so well planted on corners. Even had it around the race track at Mallory Park. Bye the way, my Z1R feels quicker than the CBX.
