Tried to post my most fun ride today...
But 'too' many links..

I had soo much fun on my KZ today...

Some times, all the work and cost is worth it, today was that day.

Yes, more to do, but today?

Awesome!

Always great photos at the other end of your links. It makes me envious.
That motel - what a location!  Did you have a look inside? Is it worth considering that place as a business opportunity ?  It might help finance your future projects!
Good to hear that your 1300 is running strongly after all the work you’ve put into it , but you mention a planned engine rebuild. I thought you’d fitted new pistons, valves etc. a few months ago?
Those small saddle bags look neat.

You mention your ‘painfully stock’ Honda CBX -  I like the sound of that. Please forgive my poor memory, but have you ever shown us that bike on this forum? If not, please do!

The hotel is owned by state of California. When they took a perfectly good curvy road and made a boring straight line out of it, the property was 'in the way'. The owners had it vacant for years and years before hand. One unit is occupied by a state park ranger for personal residence and the family caretakes the property. It's quickly falling apart...

I have looked inside, let me see if I have some pics.

Painfully Stock Honda CBX, 1981
The CBX has been *thoroughly* gone through. All pivot points have been cleaned, inspected, lubed. New front brake pads, pistons, seals. Carbs sent to Old School Carbs for full rebuild. BTW, OSC does GREAT work. Will be sending to sets of KZ1300 carbs to Jack Wagner soon.
