Rick, sorry I missed your posting: I'm looking forward to putting some miles on my Z1300 this summer, but do really like my Kettles.

That said I do have a soft spot for vee twins

Hmmmm Very nice indeed. I was working for Suzuki when the Kettles first came out and couldn't wait to get my hands on one but they wouldn't let me have one till all the customer orders were filled. It was the only bike I have ever owned that would tour 2 up at over 100mph and it was almost silent. The other guys I went riding with just couldn't believe how good it was 2 up. Mind fuel consumption wasn't exactly anything to boast about.
Even the Z13 knew it had 2 heavies aboard at that speed.
