`Thats an interesting solution I wouldn't have thought of , where there's a will there's a way, I should be ok with shims but good to know improvisation can fix things too

BMW K75 and K100 Shims are the same and so are KLR Kawasaki.

Thanks, found some 2.45's listed under K100 on ebay so ordered 4 as a starting point, £31 delivered.
