I have the 160 model but it flickers all the time, the needle isn’t smooth or consistent.
maybe I should consider the cable first.
A replacement 160 version is hard to come by

I agree with Lucien. The difference between the two face-plates will be with how the "hair-spring" on the needle indicator is pre-loaded. Everything "behind" the spring/needle will be identical.

Yeah, that's rough. Try cleaning it first- if may just be gunked up a bit. You might get lucky and that's all that you need. If you NEED to lube it afterward (you shouldn't but god forbid you do), I recommend graphite. It won't attract dirt like a traditional oil will. Good luck!
