I'm with you, KZA13. Kawasaki clearly thought it needed the fan to run for a while after shutting down the engine, so that is how it should be.

Ahhh I didn't know that as I've never had anything to do with a Voyager, never even seen one in real life, just going by how my '79 acts in Australia in the middle of summer

The Voyager fan switch used on a kz1300 keeps the fan running after the bike shuts off but it really wears out the battery.
