OK for those who haven't removed or refitted an engine on a complete strip down, this is the easiest way to do it, engine on its side clear of the floor with wooden chocks below, lay the frame straight over and drop in 2 of your mounting bolts. This is now the end of Yellow Peril and will blossom into a totally different creature. Hard Work more than worth it on the way now. Yep Pete will be busy in there no excuses to make though the cave is the place can spend weeks in there in a happy state of mind lol

Keep the pics coming Mark, these are ones I'll be looking at in the future when either mine is all in bits or I've got another one in baskets :)

OK latest including a reminder of where we were 6 weeks ago to show the difference. will be dropping a front wheel on tomorrow temp, till I re-furb and re-tyre another. Will be stopping when that is on and re-visiting ensuring all is torqued correctly etc. Next task will be when the Sump Gasket arrives is to fill with oil and coolant and re-check camshaft, ignition timing and valve clearances, don't want to have to be pulling things off at a later date to rectify, on completion of that I will spin the motor and do a compression test just to make sure all is good. Am trying to be logical in my thought process and hold back from rushing forward. Hope these pics and previous are of help to others.
