1994 Coronado 32ft Class A Motorhome by Fleetwood
I can't answer every question about this motor home, because it belonged to my parents and my mother recently passed away. She was the one that knew how everything worked. My Dad has memory issues these days, so he's no help. And I was rarely in it long enough to learn much about all the buttons and settings. I know the important stuff, like how to drive it; park it; use the jacks to level it; hook everything up when they arrive; and dump the holding tanks. I do have the original books however, and we can refer to those to answer any questions I don't know.
This motor home was used every year from the day they bought it. It would have more miles on it, but they belonged to multiple camping clubs, and many times they went to a resort and stayed for months on end. They would do small jobs at the resort in return for a free RV spot, free electric, water, etc. In some resorts they'd eat for free as well, and maybe even make a little extra money from the whole deal. I'd like to retire and do all those things, but I have a few years to go yet.
My mom saved extensive repair and maintenance records probably from day one. I can tell you that it had a rubber roof installed about 6 or 7 years ago because the original roof leaked. I walked all over the roof the last few days when I cleaned it and it all looks good and feels perfectly solid. The floor inside feels very solid as well and both appraisals reflect that thought. Once it was evident there was a leak, my mom had it taken care of the right way, as she did with any other issue it had over the years.
I know she put 4 new tires on it recently, tuned it up, changed the oil, aligned the front end, etc. I have extra pictures I can email, plus some of underneath the vehicle if you want those. It's pretty clean and was appraised by two local RV centers in Sept/09 at $8500 & $9500. No trades accepted as it's part of her estate which I am liquidating. Clear Texas title as shown.
I just drove it 670 miles to get it to Branson and it ran fine. I just filled it with gas (75 gallons), and for some reason the gauge still shows an empty tank. Maybe that will correct itself when the level drops, because it was working fine when I drove it here, and it's never had a problem before. Other than that, I see no reason not to drive it anywhere you want to go.
A buyer at $9500 has the option of buying the tow car they used. In one picture at the end you see a white 93' Honda Civic 4-Door in the background. It has approx 100,000 driven miles on it and runs perfect. 1.6L with fuel injection and 5pd standard trans. I've got a tow bar for it. Gets 40+ mpg on level ground and it still looks fantastic for it's age. You can't buy them like this anymore and you rarely see one this nice for sale. I'd keep it, but I've been trying to use it and my Dad is too feeble to get in and out ok. Sits a little too low for him and it's a little too tight of a fit for him. It's just not an old persons car (he's 83). I've been offered $2500 for it. For $12,000 you can have both vehicles and the tow bar. Call if you have questions or make me an offer.
